The luxury W Hotels chain owned by Marriott International teamed up with subscription fashion service Rent the Runway to create The Closet Concierge, a programme that allows hotel guests hire fashion to wear during their stay at four hotels in the US. It’s a clever initiative that allows guests to pack less (meaning lighter, more fuel-efficient flying), reduce textile waste and experimentwith different looks from haute couture to beach bunny, for a unique experience.

Guests select four pieces from the collection, which are brought to their room before arrival, for US$69.
